Last week we attended the 2019 BDO USA Annual Conference, a three-day event being held at the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas, NV.
The theme for this year’s conference was making Clear Choices with regard to Client Experience, Targeted Growth, Engaged People, and Technological Innovation.
The highlight of the Tax Breakout session on Monday was “Announcing the Next Generation Scan-and-populate: 100% Accuracy, No Human Verification”, presented by David Wyle, SurePrep’s CEO.
Mr. Wyle announced a new patent-pending technology for auto-verification of native PDFs with 100% accuracy which eliminates human verification, marking a pivotal moment for the 1040 tax return preparation industry.
This new technology is made available with SurePrep’s scan-and-populate solution, 1040SCAN. 1040SCAN compares the traditional OCR to the native PDF text layer, and when the two layers match, the document is automatically verified with 100% accuracy—technology no other vendor offers!
The session was well attended, and the half the room stayed after to ask questions.
